The Hole Of Horcum & Flamborough Return,Saturday 30th May 2020.

A planned walk today from Levisham and around the very impressive Hole Of Horcum in North Yorkshire resulted in plenty of photo opportunities with wildlife featuring as well as the stunning scenery.Highlights included a family party of Stonechats,singing male Redstart and Tree Pipits,a beautifully metallic Dor Beetle and the lovely sight of hundreds of Early-purple Orchids.
 After we completed the walk we decided to then pay another visit to Flamborough visiting the impressive Lighthouse headland and North Landing,getting amazing views of the local seabirds and Grey Seals,which included some brilliant views of the local Puffins as well.
