The Yorkshire Dales......Part One - Malhamdale,3rd August 2020.

Tracey and myself have just returned from a fantastic week staying in the Yorkshire Dales in Upper Swaledale,at Keld and had the chance to travel extensively throughout this beautiful area visiting some truly stunning areas.

I have decided to split the holiday into several sections due to the amount of photos and sites we visited, instead of putting it all into one or two posts,so here is the first on Malhamdale.

We have visited this fantastic area on at least 5 occasions before and today's visit was just as good as all the past visits have been.

Some nice birds were also seen today and included 3 Redstart,2 each of Grasshopper Warbler and Merlin, with 3 each of both Spotted Flycatcher and Wheatear, but as always it is the scenery which steals the show....even from my beloved birds.

The following are my favourite photos from the visit, encapsulating how beautiful the scenery is and what a great privilege it is to visit this area.
