Pembrokeshire Day 2,St.Davids,St.Non's Chapel & Porthclais,Saturday 30th July.

After enjoying a superb nights sleep in the cabin,we were up bright and early to head over to St.Davids Cathedral.
After the hour or so drive we parked up and headed over to the Cathedral,to say it was impressive was an understatement.
The architecture is just outstanding and it is also the final resting place of St.David or Sant Dewi as he is known in Welsh.
After enjoying the amazing Cathedral we had a quick cuppa and the decided to walk up to St.Non's Chapel & Well.
St.Non was St.Davids mother and it was said she gave birth to him on the cliff top at the site where the ruins are now situated.
The well was said to have sprang into life when this happened.
After looking around this site,we walked the short distance along the coast with more lovely scenery to Porthclais.
What a lovely little place this is,with it's tiny picturesque harbour, just lovely to see.
Some nice wildlife highlights seen on the walk included 2 Chough,Raven,Bloody-nosed Beetle and Black-snail Beetle.
The following are our favourite photos from the day.
