After getting up bright and early Tracey and myself packed the car and headed out and onto the motorway.
Our destination was the lovely town of Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire,a place we both have liked and visited for some time it has to be said.
We had been kindly offered to stay at our friend Dan's house in the town.
After a drink stop on route,we made our way over to Hebden in heavy rain unfortunately,so we arrived at the house un-packed our gear and waited for it to stop and we then went for a wander along the Rochdale canal.
It was great to walk along here again and we even managed to see 2 Kingfisher,a great sight to see in an urban setting.
The following are a few photos from our first day here.
