A few days away saw us completing one of our favourite riverside walks we have completed to date today.
It is a superb walk and takes in Low Force first and then you walk along the Tees up to High Force and then back to Bowlees Visitor Centre in a loop.
Very few birds were seen along the River apart from 2 Spotted Flycatcher and several flocks of Tits and Crests.
But as always it is the scenery that steals the show here,with the very impressive sight of High Force with it's 70 foot drop and the chain of rapids and smaller waterfalls at Low Force.Each is impressive in It's own right to be fair.
