Chatsworth House & Gardens,Tuesday 27th July 2021.

Not a birding or walking trip out today, but a visit to one of the country's most outstanding stately homes and it's impressive gardens.

This was my first ever visit and the first time Tracey had been since her school days.

The following are my favourite photos from our day of the gardens and grounds along with some of the 1000's of amazing treasures and the interior of the house itself. We will certainly be making another visit here,as the famous Emperor Fountain and Cascade were unfortunately not working, but this did not detract from what is an absolute national treasure and i really look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Mam Tor,Castleton,Cave Dale etc.,Sunday 25th June 2021.

A visit to this cracking area today with Trace and Clara, climbing Mam Tor and walking up to Hollin's Cross and back to Castleton, also visiting Cave Dale saw us Having a fantastic day, despite the cloudy start.

A few bird highlights during the visit included 3 Raven at Mam Tor watched flying towards Edale and a lovely male Redstart as we walked past Treak Cliff Cavern.

The following are my favourite photos from our walk.
