A visit and walk around the lovely village of Tealby, nestled in the central part of the Lincolnshire Wolds today, really was a nice change of scenery.
We didn't really cover that much of a big area, but walked up to the ford at Tealby Thorpe and along part of the Viking Way up to Castle Farm and back.
Wildlife and Bird sightings included Common Buzzard,Great-spotted Woodpecker,a Grey/Dark Dagger Moth found roosting on a Silver Birch and the best of all,my first Lincolnshire Brown Trout, with 5 seen in the River Rase at Tealby Thorpe.
This is in our plans to return here and complete a circular walk taking in nearby village Walesby.
The following are a selection of photos from our visit here.
