A visit with Trace and Clara firstly to a very wet Eyam, then Bakewell and finally Monsal Head, saw us having a very damp at times, but enjoyable day.
Eyam was a wash out,but we still managed to visit the fascinating Eyam Museum, showing the history of the village and the terrible plague which ravaged the village in the 1600's.
The weather was slightly improved as we visited nearby Bakewell, but still several downpours were dodged by us.
And finally Monsal Head was a great end to the day as the rain finally stopped and we walked down to Monsal weir and back so Clara could see part of this beautiful area.
The following are my favourite photos from the day.
